Theaccomplishments are, indeed, “selected.” We have many, manyaccomplishments by groups and by individuals that we can’t listentirely. Interestingly, this year’s scorecard has just one smallbullet point about obtaining maintenance of accreditation byAACSB. We did do that successfully this year and it tookthousands of hours by all of us to get through it. Yet, such is life,once we got past it, we quickly moved on to other projects andgoals.Good to Great suggests setting Big Hairy Audacious Goals.SHOW BHAG SLIDE HERE These goals should be set at theconvergence of the things you are passionate about, can be best inthe world at, and there should be identified economic drivers. Asnoted, we do have an opportunity to be best in the world in supplychain management with a maritime focus. This will be an ongoinggoal for the coming year. It doesn’t mean we won’t do otherthings, many of which relate to our mission and some that don’t,but it does mean that I hope we will continue to focus on this areaand work to be great. Specific objectives and plans for 2008/09are on the scorecard and are shown here.
