In cases where, forexample, load conditions are suchthat these <strong>bearings</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>units</strong> cannotbe used, other SKF linear guidanceproducts <strong>and</strong> systems are available.For additional information regardingthese other products <strong>and</strong> systems,contact your local SKF representative.This publication includes series 1 <strong>and</strong>3 linear ball <strong>bearings</strong>, manufacturedto ISO 10285 <strong>and</strong> linear plain <strong>bearings</strong>with the same dimensions.<strong>Linear</strong> ball <strong>bearings</strong>Series 1 linear ball <strong>bearings</strong> <strong>and</strong><strong>units</strong><strong>Linear</strong> ball <strong>bearings</strong> (LBBR) in series1 are compact <strong>and</strong> easy to mount.These <strong>bearings</strong> with or without sealsare available in a st<strong>and</strong>ard version aswell as a corrosion resistant version.<strong>Linear</strong> ball bearing <strong>units</strong> in this series,which include a bearing <strong>and</strong>housing, are available as single, ort<strong>and</strong>em <strong>units</strong>. T<strong>and</strong>em <strong>units</strong> includeduo <strong>and</strong> quadro versions.Series 3 linear ball <strong>bearings</strong> <strong>and</strong><strong>units</strong>Series 3 linear ball <strong>bearings</strong> includethe advanced cylindrical LBCR <strong>and</strong>LBCT design, the self-aligning LBCD<strong>and</strong> LBCF design <strong>and</strong> the LBHT designwith extra high load carrying capacity.Any of the <strong>bearings</strong> in theISO series 3 are available in a st<strong>and</strong>ard<strong>and</strong> corrosion resistant version,with an integral double lip seal toprovide maintenance-free operationunder normal conditions. These linearball <strong>bearings</strong> are interchangeablewith all former SKF series 3 <strong>bearings</strong>.Most series 3 linear bearing <strong>units</strong> arefitted as st<strong>and</strong>ard with self-aligninglinear ball <strong>bearings</strong> to accommodatemisalignment. Other designs are alsoavailable <strong>and</strong> can be found in the appropriatetables.Series 3 linear plain <strong>bearings</strong> <strong>and</strong><strong>units</strong>LPAR <strong>and</strong> LPAT linear plain <strong>bearings</strong>are included in the series 3 size range.NOTE: SKF linear ball <strong>bearings</strong> arecoated with a corrosion inhibitingpreservative.
