We currently have a vacancy for a Community Governor due to the resignation ofRhian Hacker who has been a Governor from the very start of the school’s life. Iwould like to take this opportunity to thank Rhian for over a decade’s service andto wish her well for the future. Rhian’s contribution is greatly appreciated. If youknow of any individual within the Community who would be interested/ ready toshare their skills in this way, please let Miss Phillips or me know.I would like to say thank you to the ‘Ffrindiau’ which continues to organisewonderful fundraising and social events. The success of these events is a testamentto the hard work put in by many parents and friends of the school and is key to thesuccess of our school’s community.We faced numerous challenges during the year and I’m sure we will face manymore in the year to come, however with the continuing commitment of all the staff,parents and governors, as well as the continued enthusiasm of our pupils, I amconfident that our school will continue to flourish.Finally I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff at Ysgol yBerllan Deg for their dedication to our children’s education and development.Nia Bennett
