today. The texts in French and German are identical and the book offers
a European vision of the history that runs over national antagonisms. The
book will be presented by two of its authors, Guillaume Lequintrec and
Michaela Braun. The capacity of the hall is limited, it is therefore recommended

How to Create a Luxury Mark? on Jan 31 at 7 pm
Lecture read by Patrice de Place, the chairman of the Artistic and
Pedagogical Committee of the Mod'Art Institute. The international institute,
founded in 1984, prepares its graduates for their professional career
in all fashion branches: design, fashion craft and management and dress
accessories. The lecture will be complemented with a photograph exhibition
in the Štěpánská 35 Gallery.

THE FRENCH INSTITUTE
Mod'Art International Fashion Show in Prague, on Jan 30 at 8 pm
Fashion show of hats and hand-bags. Collections created by significant
authors, such as Marie Mercier, Chéri bibi, Philipe Model or la Sartan, as
well as graduates of the Institute will be presented. The line-up will
include the 2007 summer models and new models prepared for the
2007/08 winter season. Each one of the authors has his or her own
unique style. Most of the models will be for women, but you will see also
menswear and unisex apparel.
