CATHEDRAL OF ST. BARBARA IN KUTNÁ HORA UNESCO
Cathedral St. Barbara, the patron of miners, is one of the most valuable
late gothic sites in the Czech Republic built by the most important architect
guilds between 1403 and mid 1500s. The complete plan was finally
completed during the reconstruction at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

ÈESKÝ ŠTERNBERK
The castle was founded in 1241 by
Zdeslav z Divišova. In 1467, it was
conquered by the royal army and
returned to Sternbergs by King Vladislav
II in 1479. The originally gothic
castle was rebuilt in the early
baroque style in the 17th century. email:

ÈESKÝ KRUMLOV UNESCO
The first records of the castle date from the year 1253 by the Lords of
Krumlov. From 1302 it belonged to Rosenbergs. The last Rosenberg, Petr
Vok, sold it to Emperor Rudolph II. The upper castle is from the 1st half
of the 14th century (in 1394, Bohemian King Wenceslas IV was imprisoned
there by the opposition) was extended around 1440 and modified in
the renaissance style in the 16th century. The oldest part is the Small
Castle with a 76 m tower. It is from the 2nd half of the 13th century. email:

HLUBOKÁ CHATEAU
On the site of Frohnburg Castle from the 13th century. The castle underwent
several modifications to change it into a chateau. Major modifications
took place in the the 16th and 17th centuries when it was rebuilt in
the late baroque style. Its today’s neogothic Windsor shape comes from
1841-71. The new chateau project includes park and land-scape arrangements.
