He has expertise in creating business solutions throughapplication of CI methods, including: Lean, Six Sigma, LPD, DFSS, TPM, ISO9000/AS9100,Nadcap special processes, SEI-CMM, Baldrige/EFQM, team-based problem solving, processcontrols, modeling and software/systems engineering. Mr Wells is leading Quality and ACE for theAircraft Systems Segment of UTC Aerospace Systems. He is a member of AIChe, ASQ, and SAEand sits on the Quality Council of MAPI as well as the PRI Board of Directors.Mr Wells holds an MBA as well as MS Electrical Engineering and BS Chemical Engineering andcertifications from the American Society for Quality Certified Quality Manager / OperationalExcellence (ASQ CQM/OE). He is also a Six Sigma Master Black Belt (AlliedSignal), a certifiedLean Practitioner (Goodrich Corporation) and a Maryland & North Carolina State Quality AwardExaminer.
