In many cases, tuition reimbursement is provided for off-site, employment-relatededucation. In <strong>2007</strong>, <strong>Barrick</strong> provided 770,000 hours of environmental, health, safety andemergency response training and over 550,000 hours of technical, managerial and leadershipeducation offered both on- and off-site.
