Tony Staples 1975 dropped by the campus on September 8, 2007<br />

with his wife Liliana and sons Morgan and Dominic. Tony is working<br />

for M-I SWACO as a regional technical service manager for<br />

environmental solutions. He lives in Camps Bay, Cape Town, South<br />

Africa on the edge of Table Mountain. His position keeps him on<br />

the road, travelling most often through West Africa. In September<br />

2006 Richard Donald 1975 visited Tony while he was working in<br />

Qatar and vacationing in South Africa. Richard now lives in Halifax.<br />

also researches, writes,<br />

co-produces and hosts a<br />

Jim Ogden, his wife Janet and sons<br />

moved to Hilton Head,<br />

South Carolina 10<br />

Charleston, South<br />

Carolina and his wife<br />

works in the home<br />

health care field. Old<br />

classmates are invited<br />

1971<br />

Keith Gold is a real estate agent with<br />

Royal Lepage Village in Dollard des<br />

Ormeaux, Que. He recently appeared<br />

with his wife Colleen Hearn on the popular<br />

HGTV real estate show "Buy<br />

Me," in which he was featured<br />

successfully selling his clients’<br />

condominium in less than four<br />

1972<br />

If you are in the Townships next October<br />

you may want to make a stop in the<br />

<strong>Stanstead</strong> area. Paul Deutschman is the<br />

honoree at the Art and the Automobile<br />

Show which will take place in Ogden from<br />

October 2 to 5, 2008. The show will feature<br />

vehicles designed by Paul as well as<br />

other cars of the past and present. For<br />

1974<br />

Shawn Audet resides in Hope, BC with<br />

his wife of 26 years, Sharon. They sold<br />

their nostalgia business, Tubbys Garage,<br />

and now own a self-storage facility, enjoying<br />

the accompanying lifestyle. Shawn<br />

writes, “The past lessons learned at<br />

<strong>Stanstead</strong> have proven invaluable in my<br />

path in life.”<br />

1977<br />

Dr. Pierre Geoffroy is now living in<br />

Toronto with his family following a twoyear<br />

stint in Tokyo, Japan. Pierre has two<br />

children, Alexandre (7) and Sandrine (4).<br />

He has a clinical practice in family medicine<br />

and is doing research for Sanofi<br />

Pasteur focusing on the clinical aspects of<br />

a new pandemic influenza vaccine.<br />

1979<br />

With an undergraduate degree in business<br />

from Bishop’s University and a graduate<br />

degree from American University in<br />

Washington, Allen Chastenet is currently<br />

the Minister of Tourism and Civil<br />

Aviation in St. Lucia. Married to Raquel<br />

Duboulay, they have two children, a<br />

daughter, Rhyan who is 5, and a son,<br />

Braden (Brady), who is going on 2. Allen<br />

is the owner of two resort hotels in St.<br />

Lucia, the Coco Palm and the Coco<br />

Kreole. Brian Denney recently had the<br />

chance to visit Allen and his family in St.<br />

Lucia. In March, Allen (with Brian<br />

Denney & Director of Admissions Joanne<br />

Carruthers) hosted an Admissions event<br />

for <strong>Stanstead</strong> at his resort.<br />

1980<br />

Fragility, an exposition of bronze sculptures<br />

by Mitch Kotansky, was on display<br />

at Salon Bibliocafe last fall. Mitch is the<br />

artist behind <strong>Stanstead</strong>’s Alumni Awards,<br />

which have been presented at<br />

Baccalaureate for the past two years.<br />

Todd Harding was elevated to subdeacon<br />

in the Antiochian Orthodox<br />
