CONSULTANCY DEVELOPMENT CENTREInvitation for Delivery of CDC Certificate Programmes in ConsultingConsultancy Development Centre (CDC), an autonomous institution of Department ofScientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology,Government of India has developed and is presently conducting certificate courses in -(i) Technical Consulting (ii) Management Consulting with an objective to develop trainedmanpower in the consulting sector.The programme duration of both these courses is three months comprising of 20 hours ofcontact classes.The Centre invites expression of interest from reputed institutes, engaged in education,training and consultancy, in association with CDC for delivery of these certificateprogrammes on franchised model. The various proposed modes of delivery of certificateprogrammes in consulting are given below: -I. WEEKEND MODE (Three months)o Classroom sessions on Alternate weekendo Examination at the end normally with a Gap of two weeks timeII. EVENING MODE (One month)o 2 hours per day, 3 days in a weeko Examination in the last weekIII. FULL TIME MODE (Five days)o Classroom sessions on 4 Full Dayso Examination on day fiveCertificationCDC will issue certificates to qualified participants at the end of the programme.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesCDCo Provide one set of reading materialo Approval of facultyo Setting up question paper for examinationo Evaluation of answer sheetso Issue of Certificates to qualifiedparticipantsFranchise Instituteo Drafting of brochure indicating decision onfee and mode of delivery of the programmeo Marketing of the Programme includingpreparing computer copies of brochure as perthe draft soft copy given by CDC,dispatching or e-mailing them to prospectiveparticipants interested in the course.o Admission to interested participantso Multiply reading material for distributionparticipantstoo Delivery of the programme includingarranging faculty, venue and related logisticso Conduct of examinationsSigning up Amount:The signing up amount will be Rs. 1 Lakh only for each course and is one time fee to bepaid by the franchised institute at the time of signing of MoU with CDC after which, thefranchised institute would be provided the soft copy of the reading material and brochurefor the programme.Certification Fee:Certification Fee of Rs. 5000/- will be payable to CDC for each studentProcess:Submission of expression of interestEvaluation of expression of interestSigning up of MoU between CDC and the selected Franchised institutionProgramme DeliveryExaminationIssue of Certificate by CDCPayment of Certification fee by Institution to CDC
