Length andPosition controls are used to movematerial in cut to length applicationswith high accuracy and fastcycle repetition rates.Speed controls can be used with mostAC and DC motors and drives. Processesthat depend upon speed tomaintain quality such as extruders,and pumps, are ideal applications forclosed loop speed control.
