optibelt OMEGA, OMEGA HP<br />
and OMEGA HL timing belts<br />
Optibelt OMEGA timing belts have been developed for<br />
use in high performance drives. Drive speed is transmitted<br />
synchronously, i.e. without speed loss, and with<br />
a constant transmission ratio.<br />
The Optibelt OMEGA tooth profile makes possible significantly<br />
reduced running noise levels. The teeth are formed<br />
to ensure that they mesh perfectly and with minimal<br />
friction, into the pulley teeth.<br />
Optibelt OMEGA timing belts will run in HTD ® and RPP ®<br />
pulleys. All important information for use of the belts and<br />
the methods for calculating drives with OMEGA HP,<br />
OMEGA HL and OMEGA timing belts are contained in<br />
this technical manual.<br />
The belt characteristics described may change due to<br />
various influences. Thus, the drives must be designed<br />
based on their future use (or in a way that comes close to<br />
