A PIECE OF HISTORORY“BSC” STYLEFormer Husky swimmer and alum Tom Roberts ‘81stopped by for a visit. Tom swam during the Eli McLaughlinera when the team was called Bloomsburg State Swimming.He brought with him a piece of BU history to sharewith fomer BU Swim Coach and Athletic Director, MaryGardner. Tom is now the Principal and LPL Financial Advisorat Harbor Lights Financial Group of the Lehigh Valley.FORMER PSAC ADVERSARIESREUNITE in FLORIDORIDAAt a recent masters swim meet in Florida, two-time BUCaptain from the mid ‘70’s, Bill “Bear” Ewell ‘76 ran intoformer Edinboro stand-out, Mark Drennen. Bill was competingin masters meets and open water swims aroundthe state when he bumped into the All American. The lasttime they met was at the 1976 PSAC meet held at IUP. This energetic recruit walked in theback door one day and jumped right in, paddling his wayfor an entire 50. He has also tried out for lacrosse, fieldhockey, baseball & softball by jumping into their practicestoo.
