MULTIPROPThe lightweight Slab Prop withpatented profile and official construction licenceMULTIPROP MP, the aluminium slabprop for use as individual prop, tableor shoring tower.The MULTIPROP post shores are madeof aluminium which mean they are verylight. The MP 350 can be extendedfrom 1.95 m to 3.50 m but weighs only19.70 kg.MULTIPROP post shores MP 250, 350,480 and 625 are officially approved bythe Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik inBerlin (No. Z-8.312-824).MP 6254.30 – 6.25 mThe same profile spacingallows easy attachement ofthe frame to both the innerand outer tubes.MP 4802.60 – 4.80 mMP 3501.95 – 3.50 mMP 2501.45 – 2.50 mMULTIPROP 350 withMULTIFLEX slab formwork.MULTIPROP post shoresare type tested. This makestime-consuming static calculationsunnecessary.2

The ingenious aluminium alloy sectionelastically withstands the impactcaused by a prop falling over. The shapeis ideal for the chosen material.Unlike steel props, the fullyextended MULTIPROP 480survived undamaged in testswhere it was allowed to fallon a steel tube.The MULTIPROP post shore, bracedwith the MULTIPROP Frames MRK,carries a load up to 90 kN per leg.The MULTIPROP braced with frames isthe ideal component for slab tables orshoring towers.A hammer is all that isneeded to knock the wedgeinto the MULTIPROPframe’s coupling.MULTIPROP towers withworking platforms asshoring system for anyheight.3

MULTIPROPThe intelligent and cost-effective solutionHandling and useSite labour costs are an important factorin commercial success. Reducingthe number of props can dramaticallycut the cost of slab formwork. Of particularsignificance is the ease withwhich the prop can be handled andmaintained. Ease of operation gives anextremely cost-effective result.The ECC powder coating andself-cleaning thread preventconcrete adhering to theMULTIPROP body andmake it easy to handle.MULTIPROP 350 and SKYDECK slab formworkafter striking. Only 0.29 props/m 2 forslabs up to 40 cm deep.The MULTIPROP threadIt is self-cleaning and the free-runningcollar does not jam, even when dirty.The built-in measuring tapeIt allows accurate pre-adjustment withoutlaborious measurement and reducestime spent on final levelling.The free-running collarIt makes adjustment extremeley easy.The inner tube is released and extendedat a touch of the finger.The collar still runs freely evenwhen the thread is extremely dirty.Every MULTIPROP comes witha built-in measuring tape.36 mm of adjustment achievedwith just one revolution (3 timesas much as conventional props).4

The weight is a crucial factor inhand ling.Aluminium is used to get the weightdown of the MULTIPROP 350 to only18.8 kg. Therefore one man can erectand install even the fully extendedMULTIPROP MP 350 with ease. TheMULTIPROP can be adjusted continuouslywithout having to insert pins,even when partially loaded.One man can handle the MP 350comfortably and safely.MULTIPROPs have safety stops. Thatmeans the inner tube can not slide outduring tranportation accidentally. Additionallythere is a rotary protection lug.Reducing costs and ensuring safetygo hand in hand.The principle of the free-running collarhas been compared with the pin systemof conventional props in work studies.Result:On average the MULTIPROP 350 canbe adjusted 25 % faster than the pinsystem.This is made possible by the largeadjustment of 36 mm per revolution.The MULTIPROPs adjusting collarcan be turned with a tie bar.5

MULTIPROPAccessories for quick formingBase MP 50It increases the range of anyMULTIPROP by 50 cm.Thus for example slabs with a clearheight of up to 4.50 m can be shutteredquickly and easily with just one propsuch as the MULTIPROP MP 350*.*with PERI SKYDECKQuick-Action Clamp CouplerIt allows fast and easy erection withjust a few hammer blows. This savestime and money.The Base MP 50 can also be used withconventional steel props.The MULTIPROP can also be fixedupside down on the Base MP 50.MULTIPROP 350 with Base MP 50together with SKYDECK beingused to shutter a slab with a clearheight of 4.10 m.500 mmThe Base MP 50 increasesthe “extension range”of props by 50 cm.The Base MP 50 can be fixed quickly.The quick-action clamp coupler makesit possible.MRK frames can be used to bracehigh MULTIPROPs to achieve thenecessary stability.6

Useful accessories supplement PERIMULTIPROPs to further enhancetheir flexibility.Extremely safe, quick and convenientformwork makes this investment payfor itself in no time.The Universal Tripod fits allprops from ø 48 to 120 mm.The Universal Tripod is used as anerection aid. Horizontal loads haveto be transferred through the formworkto the structure.The 40 mm diameter hole in the baseor head plate of all MULTIPROPs allowsvarious PERI slab formwork systemcomponents to be attached.SKYDECK Drophead and Propheadwith self-locking coupler.The PERI slab system componentsthat utilise the self-locking couplerfit on all props with 40 mm diameterholes.Forkhead and Clawhead withself-locking coupler for GT 24 andVT 20 Girder at the MULTIFLEXsystem.7
