Product Warranty PolicyPolicy OverviewWhen you call us with a product warranty problem our goal isto present you with the best possible solution by determiningthe nature of the problem as best as we can. We will oftenorder a replacement part to correct the problem and satisfythe warranty. A replacement part can be quickly produced andshipped by a small package carrier. In a few cases, the natureof the defect or damage cannot be corrected with a new part(s) and we will have to replace the entire cabinet.Date of ClaimThe Product Warranty Summary lists the time frame in whichyou have to report the claim depending on the reason for thewarranty. You will find the build date for the product on theproduct label affixed to each product. The date is an 8-digitcode of format YYYYMMDD followed by an internal sequencecode. Example 2006106-2 represents a product build onOctober 6, 2006.Authorization Prior to ReturnA Return Goods Authorization form (RGA) must be completedbefore returning a product. (download at www.woodpro.com/html/support.com. Product returns due to defect or damagemust be returned in the original carton and be authorized bya <strong>Woodpro</strong> representative before they can be returned to<strong>Woodpro</strong> for inspection. Not all product warranty claims areeligible for product return.<strong>Woodpro</strong> Credit for ReturnsUpon <strong>Woodpro</strong> Cabinetry’s receipt of the returned item at ourplant, we will inspect and issue a full or partial credit within 7work days. Do not send a debit memo until you have receivedthe credit memo. We do not accept debit memos without ourcredit memo.Defective ProductA defective product is defined as a product that is defectiveor that is inconsistent with normal <strong>Woodpro</strong> quality standardsin materials or workmanship. All assigned <strong>Woodpro</strong> salesrepresentatives are authorized to inspect the product anddetermine eligibility for warranty and to determine themethod to satisfy the warranty. Your <strong>Woodpro</strong> CustomerService Team may also determine eligibility for warrantyand determine the method to satisfy the warranty withouta product inspection. Products that are not in the originalcarton are not eligible for return.5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY<strong>Woodpro</strong> Cabinetry warrants to the original purchaser for aperiod of five years from the original date of purchase that<strong>Woodpro</strong> Cabinetry will replace or repair (as determined by<strong>Woodpro</strong> Cabinetry) any product that is determined to bedefective in materials or workmanship. This limited warrantydoes not cover misuse, improper installation, neglect,acts of God, exposure to extreme temperature or extrememoisture or the effects of normal wear and tear. Furthermorethis warranty does not include labor costs or defectsincurred during installation, storage or transportation or laborto install replacement parts. <strong>Woodpro</strong> reserves the rightto inspect your cabinetry to determine if the manufacturingdefect exists and/or to determine the method to satisfy thewarranty.The beauty of real hardwood is created by the variation ofgrain texture and color. Wood is particularly noted for itsvariety in graining. This is the nature of the hardwood speciesand unusual graining or color variations are natural andacceptable condition of quality wood finishes. As paintedfinishes age they will show cracking at door and drawerfront joints. All finishes may darken over time. All of thesecharacteristics are natural wood characteristics and arenot covered under this warranty. Further information aboutnatural wood characteristics is included with the InstallationInstructions and can be found on our website. (www.woodpro.com)<strong>Woodpro</strong> Cabinetry, Inc. reserves the right to make changesto our design and specifications or materials at any timewithout notification.
