Product Warranty PolicyVisible Damage to CartonDamage during Delivery – Common (LTL) CarriersProducts delivered by common carrier (LTL) that aredamaged during delivery and show visible damage tothe carton are NOT eligible for a warranty claim. TheLTL shipping carriers who deliver the product for us willbe responsible for the delivery of the product and itscondition. Any product shipped by a carrier that hasvisible damage should be checked at delivery and theshipment should be refused if damaged. You shouldnote the damage on the bill of lading to ensure the carrierassumes the responsibility for the damage. Contact<strong>Woodpro</strong> for re-ordering the product.Damage during Delivery –Contract CarrierProducts delivered by <strong>Woodpro</strong>’s contract carrier(s) thatare damaged during delivery and show visible damage tothe carton are NOT eligible for a warranty claim. Theseproducts that show visible damage to the carton willbe checked for damage by the contract carrier deliveryprofessional. If the item is acceptable after inspection,the contract carrier driver will initial the carton labelshowing that it was inspected at delivery. If the productis damaged, the driver will NOT deliver but will markthe product as a backorder on the packing slip (you willreceive credit for these items) and <strong>Woodpro</strong> will re-orderthe product. The same checks are encouraged to bemade by your receiving personnel.Damage after DeliveryProducts with Visible Damage to Carton reported AFTERdelivery are not eligible for a warranty claim. Your<strong>Woodpro</strong> Customer Service Team will assist you in reorderingthe product or replacement parts needed andassisting with the pricing of these parts or products. Mostof the replacement parts prices are found in this Sales<strong>Catalog</strong>.Concealed DamageProducts that show no visible damage to the cartonbut are found in a damaged condition are consideredconcealed damage claims. A <strong>Woodpro</strong> product that hasconcealed damage and is still in the original undamagedcarton is eligible for a warranty claim. The claim must bereported no later than 60 days from build date. All assigned<strong>Woodpro</strong> sales representatives are authorizedto inspect the product and determine eligibility forwarranty and to determine the method to satisfy thewarranty. Your <strong>Woodpro</strong> Customer Service Team mayalso determine eligibility for warranty and determinethe method to satisfy the warranty without a productinspection. Products that are not in the original cartonare not eligible for return.Restock Returns<strong>Woodpro</strong> standard products (does not have PersonalDesign Options - see “Returns for Restock Exclusions”in box below) that are not defective or damaged may bereturned at a 50% restocking charge plus the standardfreight charge fee as shown on page 4 under “FreightAdd-on for 1 piece orders”.We cannot issue credit for returned non-defective ornon-damaged products unless it satisfies the followingconditions.
