<strong>Interface</strong> descriptionReturn value:If run successfully, the function returns the value <strong>VCI</strong>_OK, otherwise an errorcode not equal to <strong>VCI</strong>_OK. Further information on the error code is providedby the function.Further information on the bus timing values in the tables pabBtr0 andpabBtr1 is given in the datasheet of the Philips SJA 1000 <strong>CAN</strong> controller.Comments:To detect the bitrate, the <strong>CAN</strong> controller is operated in “List only” mode. It istherefore necessary for two further bus nodes to transmit messages when thefunction is called. If no messages are transmitted within the time specified inwTimeoutMs, the function returns the value <strong>VCI</strong>_E_TIMEOUT.If run successfully, the function receives the variables to which the parameterplIndex shows the index (including 0) of the found values in the bus timingtables. The corresponding table values can then be used to initialize the <strong>CAN</strong>controller with thee function canControlInitialize.The function can be called in the undefined and stopped status.
