The management committee havealready met.Soggy Series – that wet stuff from the sky has again playeda part in the SSeries – 2 nd leg cancelled. Grounds had over 3inches with all arenas and grass areas wet. New draw will bedone for 3 rd leg on 11 th December.Grounds – Plans are in place for Teviot Rd fencing/separatepump and keys for members use & spectatorseating(Grant)/upgrading of arena 2 with sand and logs inarena 3 as well as drainage in arena 1. These comments will be de-identified so no one will know where they came from, but the purpose is to make the judgesmore aware of the terms they use and the impact of the comments they make on the riders. It would be helpful to knowwhat level the test was being ridden at (Novice? Advanced? FEI?) and the movement (at E circle right 15 metres), themark (0-10) and the comment (curb chain too tight) that were made/ given.If riders have a term that a judge has used which they think could be better said to provide clarity, and they have asuggestion with regard to how they think it could be improved that would be great.If riders really want to make a difference in the way they are judged and the feedback that can be provided by judges Iwould urge them strongly to take advantage of this opportunity to contribute to this discussion with immunity andconfidentiality.If riders could send the email comments directly to me at jacqui.huppert@live.com.au or this email address, by 10 January2012 at the latest, to give me a chance to write up the talk, I would appreciate it.If they have any questions about my request just drop me an email or give me a ring on 07 55477044, leave a message and Iwill get back to them as soon as possible.
