STANDARD GUIDELINES ON AML/CFTUPW/GP1(d)(e)property owned or controlled by or on behalf of a terrorist,terrorist entity or terrorist group, including funds derived orgenerated from such property; orproperty that has been collected for the purpose of providingsupport to a terrorist, terrorist entity or terrorist group orfunding a terrorist act;“terrorist act”An act or threat of action within or beyond Malaysia that—(a)(b)(c)(d)(e)(f)(g)(h)(i)(j)involves serious bodily injury to a person;involves serious damage to property;endangers a person’s life;creates a serious risk to the health or the safety of the publicor a section of the public;involves the use of firearms, explosives or other lethaldevices;involves releasing into the environment or any part of theenvironment or distributing or exposing the public or any partof the public to—(i)(ii)(iii)any dangerous, hazardous, radioactive or harmfulsubstance;any toxic chemical; orany microbial or other biological agent or toxin;is designed or intended to disrupt or seriously interfere with,any computer system or the provision of any services directlyrelated to communications infrastructure, banking or financialservices, utilities, transportation or other essentialinfrastructure;is designed or intended to disrupt, or seriously interfere with,the provision of essential emergency services such as police,civil defence or medical services;involves prejudice to national security or public safety; orinvolves any combination of any of the acts specified inparagraphs (a) to (i),where the act or threat is intended or may reasonably be regardedas being intended to—(aa) intimidate the public or a section of the public; or(bb) influence or compel the Government of Malaysia or theGovernment of any State in Malaysia, any other government,or any international organization to do or refrain from doingany act,<strong>and</strong> includes any act or omission constituting an offence under theAviation Offences Act 1984 [Act 307].23
