ABAA <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Directors <strong>Orientation</strong> <strong>Manual</strong>ACCESS & USE OF INFORMATION/ASSOCIATION SANCTIONED BUSINESS:The contact information collected by the <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Barrier</strong> <strong>Association</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>America</strong> is gathered for thepurpose <strong>of</strong> providing association service(s) and furthering the ABAA mandate. <strong>Member</strong>shave provided information including but not limited to: email address, mailing address,telephone & fax number for the purpose outlined above. This information is not provided toany person or organization.Through the course <strong>of</strong> their involvement with the association, members may gain access toinformation provided to ABAA for the purpose <strong>of</strong> conducting association business (contactinformation, etc). No member <strong>of</strong> ABAA is permitted to use information gathered by theassociation for personal use and members are prohibited from using member information forany purpose not approved by the <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Directors. This includes obtaining or forwardingemails based on emails received from ABAA. <strong>Member</strong>s are obligated to consider thisproprietary information <strong>of</strong> the association and this information may only be used in conductingsanctioned association business. The process for sanctioning association business isoutlined below:Any member / individual who wishes to have a document discussed by the association, be itat the committee, board, executive, or other level, is to observe the following process:1. Sent document(s) to the ABAA <strong>of</strong>fice and include instructions as to where youwould like to see the document reviewed (e.g. Technical Committee, <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong>Directors, etc.)2. The ABAA <strong>of</strong>fice will forward to the appropriate Committee Chair with arequest that he/she review the document(s) and advise the most appropriatetime/place to discuss3.
