12We should carefully study and follow theministry of Jesus. The Bible says concerningHis ministry, “And Jesus went about allthe cities and villages, TEACHING in theirsynagogues, and PREACHING the gospel ofthe kingdom, and HEALING every sicknessand every disease among the people” (Matt.9:35). Our ministry should consist of thesame thing.We also see something about the ministryof Jesus in Luke 4:14, “And Jesus returnedin the power of the Spirit into Galilee: andthere went out a fame of him through allthe region round about.” The Bible says Hereturned in the power of the Spirit. He wasWonderful in ministry.So we see that Jesus’ ministry consistedfirst of teaching, then preaching, and, finally,healing.During Jesus’ earthly ministry He didmore teaching than anything else.
