Statistics tell us that approximately 1 out of 8 oftheses amazing women will experience breast cancer in their lifetime.Right now there are more than 2½ million breast cancer survivors in theUnited States. I am so pleased and humbled that <strong>Five</strong> <strong>Seasons</strong> in BurrRidge will be hosting a “ Rally for the Cure” on October 22 nd , benefittingthe Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Participating in this eventis a great way to support this exceptional organization by raising awarenessand funds. I encourage our members to play for this great cause.This October is shaping up to be a busy month filled with many otherspecial events and parties for the whole family to enjoy. For those of youinterested in cross-promoting your business, I invite you to attend our“Business After Hours Party” on October 12 th . This networking event isopen to members and their guests and will be an evening you won’t want tomiss.Additionally, we have invited over 20 health and wellness vendors toparticipate in our 2 nd annual “Health Fair” on October 22 nd to share theirlatest products and services with our members. Walgreens will be on handoffering Flu shots and the American Red Cross will be here to offer CPRcertification plus many, many more on site services for you to check out!Families with young children will not want to miss our “Halloween Party”planned for October 28 th ! Parents and kids are encouraged to come dressedin costumes to enjoy some SPOOK-TACULAR treats, games andactivities.
