Degree programs offered through the College of Education are designed for both P-12educators seeking to make a greater contribution to their students' academic opportunities by addressingtheir unique needs and for those educators looking for the knowledge and range of skills necessary tofunction effectively in administrative positions at schools and higher and postsecondary institutions.Courses in Argosy University's College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences help students develop thespecific competencies required of clinical practitioners. The schools’ curriculum encompasses every majortheoretical modality that guides clinical assessment and intervention practices. Practical training andinternships provide the hands-on experience that is a hallmark of the programs’ curriculum. The College ofPsychology and Behavioral Sciences offers degree programs a wide array of disciplines, includingPsychology, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, Forensic Psychology,School Counseling, School Psychology, Sport-Exercise Psychology, Organizational Leadership, andPastoral Community Counseling.Argosy University's College of Health Sciences offers Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Sciencedegree programs that blend clinical training and medical education in order to meet the burgeoning demandfor well-educated, highly-trained allied health professionals. Students can study in the areas of DentalHygiene, Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiation Therapy, Diagnostic Medical Sonography,Histotechnology, Medical Assisting, Radiologic Technology, and Veterinary Technology.The university also offers a master’s degree program in Public Health through the College of HealthSciences, which is designed to provide healthcare and other professionals with an understanding of thepublic health sciences, population-based research, and the community practice of public health.
