South American Meeting:
During the days 15, 16 and 17 of September
the Landyachting Club of Bell Ville, Cordoba,
summoned the sportsmen of the wind to participate
of the 4to South American Landsailing
Meeting with pilots from Brazil and Argentina.
The event had as main objective to gather pilots
lovers of the wind to continue working with
a view to achieving a solid establishment at
South American level, narrowing bonds with
main characters of other countries.
During the Encounter they were carried out different
tests with funny purpose, ability and competition,
in three categories, (Beginners, Promo
and Free) with a spectacular weekend being
disputed a score of series.
In the general summary of the category Free
Promo, the local Serra and Prestento, showed
to be prophets of its earth, while Coria from Patagonia
reached the fourth place.behind the

The Asociación Patagónica de Carrovelismo
(Patagonian Landyachting Asociation) continues
working for the realization of the most important
event of the last times as regards
wind sport in South America
In February of Next year and in adhesion to the
Centennial of Comodoro Rivadavia, Rada
Tilly's beaches will be sport centre of the
bigger attraction for the lovers of the wind.
The character of this event will be highly sport,
for that the Association is working to arrive
with all the details to this demanding organiza-

tional challenge that seeks of uniting 40 pilots
of different latitudes.
Tests of endurance, normal regattas and challenges
of speed will do.

ROVELISMO - PATAGONIAN LANDY-
ACHTING SCHOOL
Again this Summer 2000-2001, he/she will start
the season of the Infantile School of Landyachting
This had their first season fulfilling all success
the objective layout: To DIFFUSE THE LANDY-
ACHTING FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG.
With 20 new small yachts 2.2 and 3.2 square
meters, children from seven years until young
of 15 years of age, the first promotion of Patagonian
pilots completed the yearning
Professors Claudia Correia, Ado Simunovich,
Jorge Rodriquez and who writes, Pablo Reyes
at the head, covered every day with four daily
hours of training to the pilots, with regattas and
trophy's on the wild coast, during two months
and a half in a nice summer.
The initiative won the recognition of Government's
authorities that they saw this School like
a tourist potential and healthy contention for the
youth
