We travelled, as will be seen by the map,in a series of great zigzags up the heart of Scotland,exploring the country far and wide as wewent. For we had gaily concluded, when firstthe project was discussed, that we would go upby the West and come back by the East : andour erratic course was due to our determined andpathetic endeavours to reach the West Coast.This West Coast, North of Glasgow, provedfor us.
