Masonsserve as volunteers for many community projects.The reason you may not have learned about thisinvolvement is that Masons seek only to provideservice.HOW DO MASONS ASSIST THOSEIN NEED?Most Masonic Lodges and Masonic affiliated bodiesprovide funds and services for those in need.Some of these activities include helping childrenwho are crippled or burned or who have learningdisabilities or visual prohlems, or who need denialrestoration, and contributing to cancer and otherresearch and to other health and rehabilitationservices. Masons and Masonically related bodiesspend over two million dollars a day for charitableand benevolent purposes. In addition to Nationaland Statewide programs, help is extended to solvepersonal problems, such as paying medical bills,restoring fire or flood damaged homes and assist-HOW CAN I AFFORD TO BE A MEMBER?Masons and those in Masonically affiliated bodiesoften have only modest incomes. Much of the moneyspent on charity is obtained by sponsoringfund raising activities.AS A MASON, WHAT WOULDI GET OUT OF IT?The satisfaction of knowing you are helping thosein need and knowing that future generations maybe better off because of your efforts.WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITSOF MASONRY?Fellowship.
