Also by coincidence, Catholic and Jewish clergy came together andgave their blessing to the Commission's work too.In 1942, John Foster Dulles apparently adopted plans to use Catholic and Protestantchurches and the World Council of Churches for the OSS (which was the forerunner ofthe CIA) for his own purposes. The OSS analyst who presented him with plans for suchan operation, impressed him and was sent to the Berne, Switz. team. 60Controlling and infiltrating the World Council of Churches could not have been verydifficult considering the high ratio of high ranking Freemasons on that make up the WorldCouncil when it meets.
