Invalid Sensors and Error Conditions4.3 Crosscheck MonitorFigure 16. Crosscheck MonitorThe Entegra EXP5000 comes equipped with a self-check monitor. When this monitor detects a condition that does not warrant removalof data, a CROSSCHECK ATTITUDE warning message displays. When this message is displayed, scan all backup instruments andauxiliary instruments (backup attitude indicator, backup airspeedindicator, and back up altimeter) to crosscheck the aircraft attitude. The warning message is automatically removed when the self-checkmonitor confirms the EXP5000 attitude is valid. The message will not be displayed when air data is invalid (as shownon page 40). Cross referencing the EXP5000 attitude to the backupADI is recommended during flight with invalid air data.Note: Highly dynamic maneuvering such as multiple linked lazy-8 leavesmay result in small pitch and/or bank errors. If the errors build up to anexcessive amount, the crosscheck attitude message may display.Note: In dual PFD installations, the CROSSCHECK ATTITUDE messageapplies to the selected ADAHRS source.600-00104-001 Rev 04 -42- Entegra EXP5000 PFD
