ABS@un In Fun <strong>2002</strong>BY STEVEN W. OXMANABS was again represented at the annual Sun 'n Fun EAA Flyinin Lakeland, Florida. Joining me were our ever-present volunteergroup-Ron Vickrey, Lance McDougle, Buz Rich, Pete Bedelland Asa Culver. We greeted ABS members, potential ABS membersand those interested in the planes we represent. Some of themany new volunteers/members participating this year were RobinMoorman, Lloyd Richards, Paul Wagner, Paul Clark, Alan Witkin,Ron Shapiro, Kevin Smith, Don Ellis and Barry Beckett. We allhad a great time.Our ABS table in the Type Tent had a steady stream of membercoming by to say hello and network, and a number of ABSmembers were also able to check out other members' planes-atotal of about 200.On Monday evening, more than 30 of us got together for dinnerat the Steak 'n Ale Restaurant in Lakeland (this seems to be ourstandard evening and location for this annual event).
