Hereare some ideas <strong>the</strong> WSH Advocatescan consider:• circulate WSH-relatedinformation;• organise competitions such asdesign of WSH logo, postersfor specific WSH topic;• organise lunchtime talks orsafety briefing events;• encourage your colleagues toparticipate in WSH-relatedevents or seminars organisedby WSH <strong>Council</strong>; or• assist in enhancing existingWSH systems (e.g., WSH issuereporting, WSH training).REVIEW THEIMPLEMENTATION PLANAND PROPOSE NEWINITIATIVES ON AREGULAR BASIS.• Review <strong>the</strong> effectiveness of<strong>the</strong> implemented activities bycomparing <strong>the</strong> company’sWSH performance toyour colleagues’ feedback.• Continue to improvise <strong>the</strong>implemented <strong>programme</strong>s; <strong>and</strong>• Rotate <strong>the</strong> duties among <strong>the</strong>WSH Advocates <strong>and</strong> get morenon-Advocate colleagues toparticipate in <strong>the</strong>m.RECOGNITION/ INCENTIVE/REWARD SCHEMEFOR WSH ADVOCATESAND THEIR WSH EFFORTS.• Incentives/ rewards such asvouchers or gifts may be given tooutst<strong>and</strong>ing WSH performance bystaff <strong>and</strong>/or WSH Advocates.• Collar pin, badges, armb<strong>and</strong>s,<strong>and</strong> so on may be issued to WSHAdvocates as recognition <strong>and</strong> alsoto improve <strong>the</strong>ir visibility.14 A Guide to <strong>the</strong> WSH Advocate Programme15
