PART III pENSION FUND PLANS7.01 No new Pension Plans were registered during 2006.7.02 The number of active registered Pension Fund Plans now stands at one hundred andninety-seven (197) comprising ninety-two (92) self-administered Pension Fund Plansand one hundred and five (105) insured/annuity plans. There are now fifty-nine (59)plans in the process of being wound-up; this figure is inclusive of one (1) plan which isunder judicial management. A list of the pension plans is provided at Appendix E tothis report.7.03 The list of the active registered pension plans is provided at Appendix E to this report.Amendments7.04 Two (2) amendments were made to the Trust Deeds and Rules of two (2) pension fundplans, during the period under review.The amendments were registered upon payment of the prescribed fee.Revenue7.05 Revenue in respect of the amendments thereto for the year ended 31st December 2006was twenty dollars ($20.00).Annual Accounts7.06 The trustees of pension fund plans submitted annual audited accounts in respect of onehundred and thirty-nine (139) plans. Seventy (70) were in respect of self administeredpension fund plans and sixty-nine (69) were in respect of insured /annuity pension fundplans.7.07 For the purpose of this report, insured plans included plans which are administered byan insurer under a deposit administration contract.7.08 The Accounts received are detailed at Tables XXX11 to XXXV.REPORT ON INSURANCE AND PENSIONS 57
