If at any time you wish to discuss an issue with the class teacher please arrange anappointment. Alternatively, you can discuss it at the end of the school day. Progress reportsand parents’ evenings are once each term.If you would like to support the school further please contact a member of the fundraisingcommittee through the school office.Fundraising CommitteeWe have a committed group of parents who raise additional funds for school. If you are able tohelp in any way then please contact school.HolidaysYour child’s achievement is important to us andwe would encourage you to take holidaysduring the prescribed school holidays.However, if it is unavoidable please make anappointment to discuss the holiday with thehead teacher. A panel of governors will reviewthe request with a maximum of five daysauthorised holiday in any one academic year.ComplaintsComplaints at Lord Street are quite rare.However, if you wished to make a complaintthere are three simple steps to follow:Step 1 ~ discuss the issue with the class teacherStep 2 ~ discuss the matter with a member ofthe senior leadership teamStep 3 ~ contact the Chair of Governors (detailsin the prospectus)10
