These experts help prepareyou for professional life after the programme by providing advice on settingup studio spaces, pricing your works and how to make contacts with galleriesand agents suited to the promotion of your work.PAINTING & DRAWING AND SCULPTURE PROGRAMME TUTOR –DR EDWARD WINTERSEdward Winters is a specialist in the aesthetics of the Visual Arts and apractising artist. He has both an M Phil and PhD in Philosophy, as well asa degree and postgraduate qualification in Painting, having studied atPortsmouth Polytechnic, the Slade School of Fine Art, Birkbeck <strong>College</strong>London and University <strong>College</strong> London. Before joining <strong>West</strong> <strong>Dean</strong> in2004 Edward Winters was a Senior Lecturer in Aesthetics at the Universityof <strong>West</strong>minster. His research interests include representation,imagination, painting, architecture, philosophy of mind and Wittgenstein.PAINTING & DRAWING AND SCULPTURE TUTOR – MARCUS REES ROBERTSMarcus Rees Roberts read English at Cambridge before takingpostgraduate study in Film Theory at The Slade School of Fine Art. Hethen took a further postgraduate programme in Printmaking. He hastaught at The Slade and was Head of Printmaking at Edinburgh <strong>College</strong>of Art. He now makes paintings, prints, artists’ books and short films,exhibiting regularly in Britain and in the United States. He is representedby Pratt Contemporary Art.28
