Jens has handled several contentious mergers atEU and national level, and has extensive experiencein appeals against Danish Competition Council decisions.Born in 1965 and admitted as a lawyer in1993, Jens holds qualifications from the Universityof Copenhagen (Master of Laws 1990) and Free University of Brussels (LLM 1994)and has international experience from Kromann Reumert’s Brussels office. A regularspeaker at competition law conferences and a former lecturer with the Universityof Copenhagen, Jens is also co-author of the book Danish Merger Control(Dansk Fusionskontrol) and has published a range of academic articles in both Danishand international journals.
