African-AmericanMuseum of Church Historyprogram SundayDAVIDSON – Davids<strong>on</strong> College PresbyterianChurch will host Sunday, Jan. 17,a program <strong>on</strong> the effort to create an African-AmericanMuseum of Church History.The program takes place at 4 p.m.at the church’s C<strong>on</strong>gregati<strong>on</strong> House, 218C<strong>on</strong>cord <strong>Road</strong>.During the years immediately followingthe Civil War, many African-Americanchurches in the South were establishedby ex-slaves to create communities andworship in culturally distinct ways.
