The Department <strong>of</strong> <strong>Health</strong> <strong>and</strong>Human Services also provides assistance to Federal agencies on facilitating <strong>and</strong>extending programs for the prevention <strong>of</strong> drug abuse <strong>and</strong> for treatment <strong>and</strong>rehabilitation. It also is available to provide technical assistance to Federal agencies ondrug testing, overall drug program implementation <strong>and</strong> medical review.The Government Printing Office: The Government Printing Office sponsorsan annual <strong>Health</strong> Fair which is provided by the <strong>Occupational</strong> <strong>Health</strong> <strong>and</strong> EnvironmentalService Committee.Individual Agencies: All Federal agencies are responsible for developingsafety <strong>and</strong> health policy for providing the Employee Assistance Program <strong>and</strong> providingrelevant training. Federal agencies are required to negotiate or consult with unions forthe provisions <strong>and</strong> services for bargaining unit employees. Senior management isrequired to support <strong>and</strong> endorse the Employee Assistance Program <strong>and</strong> encourageemployee use <strong>of</strong> the Program Services by making the services convenient <strong>and</strong> available.14
