CarriedResolution 2013-07, Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6-10, 2013Teachers are required to do many activities to accommodate the needs of the public at large andstudents in particular. As a way of saying “thank you”, a resolution was developed to recognize andpay tribute to the teachers who lead our children’s education. A resolution cannot give full measureto the appreciation that needs to be expressed, but it does remind everyone to offer appreciation as itis due. Parents and patrons were encouraged to express their appreciation to the dedicatedindividuals who teach the children of the Tillamook School District. Kris read the resolution intothe record.MOTION (04/13-2) by Stephanie Hurliman, seconded by Kris Lachenmeier that the Board ofDirectors adopt Resolution 2013-07, proclaiming the week of May 6 - 10, 2013, as “TeacherAppreciation Week” in the Tillamook School District.
