Wefound her in 1993 and were lucky to have had her for18 years. She was spunky and full of the dickens. Shedidn’t let the fact that she was born blind slow herdown. She was so smart. She quickly learned wherethe furniture was and was able to run around, jumpand play without bumping into anything! Betsytouched my heart. My favorite memory of her wasshared during a very cold night. She had crawled underthe covers and was sound asleep beside me withher head resting on my pillow. I am so thankful forall the time we had together.- Katherine Newhouse
