The team managed it in an official time of23 hours and 48 minutes!Flu clinicsIt is the time of year when you need to start thinkingabout your flu vaccination. If you are over 65 or sufferfrom a chronic disease such as diabetes, COPD, asthma,kidney/liver disease, heart disease, neurological disease,immunosuppressed (eg receiving chemotherapy), a carerlooking after someone who is over 65 or in the clinicalat risk group (a poultry worker or frontline healthcareworker, or currently pregnant) it is essential that youreceive the influenza vaccination.This year the Public Health Team has extended the fluprogramme to 2 and 3-year-olds but it will only beoffered to 2 and 3 year old children – children that are4 years old on 1/9/<strong>2013</strong> will not be entitled to thisvaccine.
