Be prepared to stand by your stalls, scour yourshelves and fill your ovens in support, as this is one ofour important fund raisers for church funds as well as agreat community event.Finally, because we are always thinking of your comfort,we are planning to make rather more pew cushions.Geraldine Clancy has generously offered a regularmeeting place and there are offers of wool, somecanvases and much talent. But since, I am told, it isn'tdifficult, we welcome anyone who would like to join usin covering our pews in artistry. Keep an eye on thepew leaflets for details and do let us know if you areinterested.Linden and MargaretChurchwardensChagford Fashion ShowChagford Jubilee Hall Improvement Fund is holding aSpectacular Fashion Show on Friday 18 th <strong>October</strong> at7.30 for 8pm. Local shops, salons and boutiques will betaking part as well as some from outside the area. Stallswill be selling gorgeous things. Included in the ticketprice of £10 will be a free entry to the raffle, a glass offizz on arrival and discounts. There will also be a bar.Glamorous pre-loved evening wear will be available forpurchase on the night. So come on ladies! Stock up forthe party season and maybe buy a few early Christmaspresents.
