Email: .hatton.d@virgin.net .Throwleigh Archive ExhibitionDuring the weekend of <strong>November</strong> 2 nd -3 rd , theThrowleigh Archive will open an exhibition ofphotographs and documents revealing past and presentlife in Throwleigh to launch the revised reprint of thearchive’s book, Throwleigh: Pictures and Memories of aDartmoor Parish. At 192 pages, in A4 hardback and nowwith an extensive index, it includes over 250 picturesfrom the archive with explanatory text about places andinteresting village characters. It is available at theexhibition for £16 (or from 01647 231051 or 231213,or archive.throwleigh@virgin.net ).The show will display several hundred photographsfrom the archive (including many not in the book) andgive an insight into the lives of some of the fascinatingpeople who lived and worked in the parish, and showbuildings and features which have disappeared orchanged.
