Nowadays the shy ones tendmore to the insulting comic cards as a token oftheir love.Anyway this is the season for hearts and flowersand Cupid's busy little bow. Poor St. Valentine'smartyrdom is almost forgotten but his feast daywill likely go on forever or at least so long as"love makes the world go round".i IN THE HOUSEby David D. He did a very goodjob of outlining some of theproblems facing people inthe rural ridings and particularlythe farmers. For manyyears now the farmers havebeen faced with higher costsof production and steadyor even declining prices forthe products they sell.On Tuesday afternoonof next week ! will be goinginto this same topic inmore detail and at that timewill be presenting the NewDemocratic Party policystatement on Agriculture. As a supporter of thegovernment Mr. Shelfordstopped short with his presentationof the problemsfacing the industry.
