On completion of the module you willhave an excellent understanding of fundamentalconcepts and theories underpinning psychologyas well as practical research skills to carry outexperimental projects.40Media StudiesThrough the module you will develop anunderstanding of key concepts underpinningdifferent media and an appreciation of thecritical views of media and culture.Principles of EconomicsYou will focus on microeconomics andmacroeconomics and become familiar withmany of the key concepts specific to thediscipline of economics and understand howmodels and concepts can be applied to everydayproblems relating to the world around you.Economics transcends many degree subjectsand studying this module will give you theconfidence to recognise its existence whenexploring a range of academic issues.41
