George Draper of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, wrote a note to the Maueapa Call to let his family@ and fiiends in the area know that he is fine.Howard Stine and Bob Jarvis left yesterday for Hastings, Nebraska, where they will remain.George Smith returned on Thursday after an absence of 16 months. Arrangements are beingmade for him to enter the Soldier's Home at Quincy where he will go within the week.Mrs John Whitmore, west, presented her husband with a baby daughter on Friday. Wm Pruett,west, has a new 11 pound son who arrived on Sunday and Henry Hays has a son who arrived atthe home on Saturday.
