Foreword<br />
The Waldorf Journal Project, sponsored by <strong>the</strong> Waldorf Curriculum Fund,<br />
brings translations of essays, magazine articles, and specialized studies from<br />
around <strong>the</strong> world to English-speaking audiences. This eighteenth edition can be<br />
said to generally follow <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>me of child observation and class observation.<br />
Most appeared originally in <strong>the</strong> German periodical Erziehungkunst, <strong>the</strong> Swedish<br />
magazine På Skole or <strong>the</strong> Norwegian journal Steinerskolen .<br />
We hope that this Journal will help teachers and o<strong>the</strong>rs gain insight into<br />
<strong>the</strong> seeds of Waldorf education. The Waldorf Journal Project #18 and all o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
