Beginning of school year in January:- Departures: 11- Arrivals: 13Pre-registration for the next school year: 134 students are already pre-registered for thenext school year.Comments: the available places in bilingual MS have not been allocated yet as there is nowaiting list for MS. A selection process in MS would be difficult and long to implement withadditional integration issues (when possible, we make transfers during the first term, notbeyond). Ikindly remind you that for security reasons, we can’t just leave children close to thepool. As for the class, we can’t offer an activity with 20% of the children not being ableto participate.C) Future projects:- The gardens in PS- The new aquarium in MS- Discovering horses in MS- Album writing in GS- Visit of bilingual classes at the Kovan Kindergarten SchoolComments : Ms. Zahnbrecher will also present the project « artiste en résidence »(”visiting artist”) which she leads for the LFS and some classes of the Kindergarten willparticipate: Joris Favennec www.atelier-outdoor.fr will be present at LFS for 3 weeks andwill work with classes ranging from Terminale to PS.1 - Disciplinary projects:The class of GS-E had its first bicycling lessons. The other classes of GS will follow later thisyear. They will finalize this project with a « bicycle driving license » after a ride at East CoastPark.2 - New technology projects:A pilot-project is being run in bilingual MS for the use of tablet PC’s.3 - Sustainable development projects:“One week without hard copies and paper files” starting March 15 th .
