11.4. MUSIC & ARTS<br />
Popular music and culture venues include Cemal Reșit Rey Hall in Nișantașı, Cemil Topuzlu Açık<br />
Hava Tiyatrosu (open air amphitheater) in Nișantașı, Rumeli Hisarı open air amphitheater (in<br />
summer), JC’s jazz club in Ortaköy, Nardis Jazz Club, and many more. Babylon is an excellent venue<br />
for rock and alternative music performances. Tickets are available for purchase online through<br />
www.Biletix.com and through their outlet stores (including Taksim, Ortaköy, and other areas of<br />
town).<br />
There are many other classical and popular music performances going on all the time; many of them<br />
are sponsored by private groups, churches, or cultural associations and not widely advertised, but if<br />
you regularly check these websites, you will always be in the loop.<br />
The <strong>IICS</strong> Social Committee organizes a number of social and cultural events throughout the year as<br />
well.<br />
