Specifications (For Specifiers)The full circle or part circle impulsedrive sprinkler shall be a single nozzletype, capable of covering_____(feet/meters) radius, at ________(PSI/bars) with a discharge rate of______ (GPM/M3H). The sprinklerbody and bearing sleeve shall be ofheat treated, cast aluminum.Straightening vanes shall be integral tothe body. The sprinkler arm, springs,fulcrum shafts, and trip mechanismsshall be stainless steel. All tripmechanisms shall be reinforced withstainless steel washers and cotter pins.The drive nozzle trajectory shall be23 degrees from horizontal.The rotation of the sprinkler shall beaccomplished by a spring loaded,stainless steel vertical oscillating arm,actuated by the outlet water stream.The part circle models shall have aslow-reverse feature for reducedvibration and greater safety. A stainlesssteel spoon bracket assembly can beadjusted to increase or decreaserotation speed.The nozzle and spoon assembly shallbe durable, chemically resistant plasticand shall be easily replaceable. A set ofsix metric sized, taper bore nozzlesshall be included with the gun - 14, 16,18, 20, 22, & 24 mm (.55, .63, .71, .79, .87, .94inches). The nozzle size shall be moldedinto the plastic for easy identification.The bearing assembly shall bepermanently sealed and packed 70%with a wide temperature range, waterresistant silicone grease. The brakemechanism will be spring loaded andself-adjusting.On part circle models, adjustablefriction collars will be supplied to setarc adjustments without the use oftools, and the bearing assembly will bemarked in ten degree increments tofacilitate adjustments.The F3002 shall be for full circleoperation only. The SR3003 shall haveadjustable part circle or full circleoperation.The sprinkler shall have six hole flangeinlets, and a 2 mm (.08”) neoprenegasket and bolt kit shall be suppliedwith the gun.An optional (NPT/BSP) flange adapterwill be supplied to adapt the flangeinlet to a (2”/50 mm) female inlet.The sprinkler shall carry a three yearwarranty against original defects inmaterial or workmanship inagricultural applications. Thesprinkler shall be supplied by Rain BirdSprinkler Mfg.
