Getting Startedre-connecting the battery, please see Chapter 4,“Using the Battery and Power Adapter” and the“Replacing a Battery” topic on page 4-5.Removing the Instrument from itsCasea. Pull up the tab of the link lock and turn the tabcounter-clockwise to unfasten the lock fromthe keeper plate.b. Repeat step a. for the other link lock.c. Open the Autograv transportation case bylifting the cover.d. Remove the protective foam from the lefthand side of the transportation case to viewthe top of the Autograv.e. Remove the Autograv from its transportationcase and visually inspect for any damage thatmay have occurred during transportation.f. From the right hand of the case, remove theAutograv accessories.Important:If there is any evidence of physical damage,immediately call Scintrex Limited.
