Food Technology and Nutrition 12FTN 2013 WHAT WILL I LEARN? To research possible health-­‐promoting material relating to the foods that can contribute towards addressing the nutritional concerns of a targeted group Food preparation, food nutrition, food for special groups Eating patterns and nutrient intake of nominated groups, e.g. high energy needs groups To research and describe factors which have contributed to current dietary patterns of New Zealanders -­‐ describe possible consequences of these factors on societal well-­‐being and suggesting possible strategies to address the identified consequences.
