Venture Tape…Delivering Splicing Solutions Every Day.Rubber-Based AdhesivesVenture Tape rubber-based adhesives are aggressivepressure sensitive adhesives with highpeel, tack, and shear performance.Rubber based adhesives perform well over abroad range of temperatures and environmentalconditions. Typically, rubber based adhesiveshave a maximum application temperature of200°F (93°C). For higher temperature applications,Venture Tape recommends its line of acrylicadhesives.Acrylic AdhesivesVenture Tape acrylic adhesives are high performancepressure sensitive adhesives withhigh peel, shear, and temperature performance.Acrylic adhesives are not initially as aggressiveas rubber adhesives, but bond strengthincreases over time ensuring maximum reliabilityfor demanding splicing applications. Typicallyacrylic adhesives have a maximum applicationtemperature of 280°F (138°C); some VentureTape acrylics withstand temperatures up to 400°F(204°C). Acrylic adhesives bond to a broadrange of substrates including foams, plastics,uncoated papers, coated papers, and other typesof roll goods.Cold Weather (CW ® ) Acrylic AdhesivesVenture Tape products featuring Cold Weather(CW ® ) Acrylic Adhesives are constructed specificallyfor use in extreme environments. Fieldproven for applications in temperatures as low as-10°F (-23°C), Venture CW ® adhesives are alsostable up to 250°F (121°C) ensuring secure, reliablesplices in all conditions.
